Complex Mental Health Rehabilitation Program
The Complex Mental Health Rehabilitation Program is primarily staffed by AHS staff, in collaboration with Protective Services, and AgeCare providing 24 hours support to 32 complex mental health residents in our rehabilitation program. Several group and individual programming options are provided daily.
This program offers:
- specialized staff trained for managing clients with challenging behaviors, mental illness and/or concurrent disorders
- psychiatrist and physician support
- private, single occupancy suites with bathroom
- client access to safe tobacco smoking area on unit
- enhanced recreation (fitness area, library, kitchen, woodshop, computer lab, etc.) and community integration programming
