Offers welcome packages designed to support newcomers to Canada residing in Grande Prairie with access to recreation activities and transportation to develop connections to the community.
Service provides:
- a 1-time Explore Grande Prairie welcome package to support individuals new to Canada with access to city recreational facilities and public transit
Each package includes:
- 5 passes to the Eastlink Centre
- 5 passes to the Activity Reception Centre
- 3 month pass for free transit
Applicants who are approved for the Explore Grande Prairie welcome package will also be automatically approved for 1 year to the City’s Recreation Access Program and Transit Access Program.
