Provide assessment, treatment and education for adults who have had a transient ischemic attack or minor stroke. This service provides the following for adults who have had a TIA or a minor stroke:
- assessment and treatment
- referral to neurosurgery and interventional neuroradiology as needed
- education relating to stroke, risk factors, and lifestyle
- clinical care and teaching in the area of cerebrovascular disease
