My Account enables individuals to:
- change and view tax return / view benefits
- update personal information / marital status / direct deposit
- submit documents
- view mail / uncashed cheques
- view notice of assessment / proof of income
- register formal dispute
- apply for child benefits
SimpleFile by Phone enables eligible individuals to:
- auto-file their income tax and benefit return over the phone
- eliminate the need fill out forms, perform calculations or speak to an agent
Individuals invited to use SimpleFile will receive an invitation letter from the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA), either by mail or by email notification to view the letter in My Account. The invitation letter provides the information needed to use this service. The CRA sends out invitation letters every February.
