Crime and Trauma-Informed Support Services

Provides trauma-informed support, referral, and information to victims of crime and tragedy.
Service offers:
support to victims of crime and trauma
Includes:
personal victim support by staff and volunteers providing immediate crisis intervention and support, face-to-face visits (temporarily suspended due to COVID-19), and telephone contact
staff and volunteers provide an initial point of contact to navigate the justice system
information to victims regarding the status of their case, court proceedings, and dispositions
Victim Impact Statement forms and assistance completing forms such as restitution forms and financial benefits for victims of crime forms
court orientation (with mock trial)
court accompaniment (if needed)
